Materials:
Unless otherwise noted, I work on 8.5x11 cardstock paper.
For commissions over $50, I'll do several sketches (2-5 - often digital sketches) and let you choose between them. Then I'll use my lightbox to trace over the approved sketch onto the cardstock, which I will then ink.
Prices:
My prices are somewhat negotiable, but expect something along the following for a "General" commission. (Other types of commissions are priced differently.)
- Single character (full-body), no background, B&W = $35 USD
- Color = +$20-30 USD
- Simple background = +$10 USD
- Involved background = +$20-40 USD
- Extra characters (each) = +$10-30 USD
- Original mailed to you = Shipping costs.
Misc. Info/Notes:
* I am willing to discount my prices for those willing to let me make prints/sell merchandise with the image on it.
* I can give a more accurate estimate for a picture if you email me with a description.
* I take PayPal, Money Order, or some Gift Certificates (ie: Amazon, Akadot Retail; etc). Might accept some other form of barter as well. :B
* I generally require half payment up front.
* If I take too long to do the commission (and I decide how long is 'too long') - I throw in extra drawings for free.
